Detailed Itinerary


Day 1: Nairobi City to Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, the driver will pick you up at your hotel and brief you on your safari thereafter, you will embark on your journey to Masai Mara with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley. We continue driving on through Longonot and Suswa and on to the Western walls, enroute lunch and after continue with the drive to Masai Mara, arriving in the park in time for evening game drive. Best time to catch up with the nocturnal coming out in search for prey among other animals. Masai Mara is popular for the Big five (Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Buffalo and Rhinos) proceed and drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at your reserved lodge.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara Game Reserve

On this day, you will have full day Masai Mara. The drive takes you across the plains be on the lookout for the big cats (black manned lions, Cheetahs and leopards with picnic lunch served at the Mara River site. Vast herds of wildebeest and zebra wander across the Mara grasslands in huge numbers during this period of the annual migrations take place, when millions of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle traverse the Mara plains landscape to feed on the rich new grass from the Serengeti. You also have a chance to see other plain game like the Topi, hartebeest and Eland. Dinner and overnight at Lodge/camp.

Day 3: Depart Masai Mara Game Reserve to Lake Nakuru National Park

Rise up early for morning game drive best time to catch up with the early rises before they retire to their hideouts, you will also see large herds of animals grazing on the savannah grassland. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Park up and check out of the lodge, exit park and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. In this park you will proceed for an extensive game viewing in search of cats in the among the ‘Yellow fever’ acacia trees perfect spot for leopards and also be on the lookout for Rhinos, Nakuru is the home to the White rhinos and has tens of Black rhinos too. Lake Nakuru National Park is known for its millions of flamingos and other water birds like the Pelicans and Cormorants. Nakuru famously known as Paradise in the World for its seasonally large concentrations of greater and lesser flamingos, Lake Nakuru boasts some 600-bird species. It is also a designated rhino sanctuary, as well as home to other rare wildlife species. Arrive in Nakuru late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at a hotel.

Day 4: Depart Lake Nakuru National Park to Amboseli National Park

Have an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park and leave for Amboseli, lunch will be enroute. Arrive in Amboseli in the evening and on a good day you will see Africa’s highest mountain Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge

Day 5: Full Day Game Drives in Amboseli National Park

Morning and afternoon game drives over the park’s dusty roads (Giving the true meaning in Maasai language Amboseli meaning dusty whirl winds), you’re likely to spot wildebeest, giraffes, Gazelles, Impala and zebra attracted to the marshes and swamps fed by the melting snows of Kilimanjaro. You may also spot lions on the fringes of the marshes as well as a great variety of bird-life (some 425 species of bird populate the park). With Kilimanjaro providing a dramatic backdrop, your photographs will be stunning with Elephants, which makes Amboseli popular as there in hundreds. Dinner and overnight at camp/lodge.

Day 6: Depart Amboseli National Park to Nairobi City

You will have early morning game drives. It will be your last game drive at Amboseli before coming back for breakfast and packing for Nairobi where the driver will drop you off at the airport or at your preferred location marking the end of your safari tour.
