Rise up early for morning breakfast and proceed to the parks headquarters where you will join others for briefing about the dos and the don’ts of Gorilla trekking. Thereafter, you will be put in groups each group led by an expert ranger as you start the trek in the forest. The activity may last for about 1-6 hours depending on the location of the chimps on that particular day. you will also encounter other primates including; Black and white colobus monkeys, grey checked mangabeys among others. when you find the chimps, you will be allowed one hour with them observing them, watch them feed, groom young ones among other daily activities. Thereafter, you will exit the park and return to the lodge for lunch, check out and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes.
